My Apps
Availability: Requires a single time payment to download. About: A physical presence calculator for prospective Canadian citizens. Track trips, calculate accumulated days, and get notified when you're eligible to apply for citizenship. Features iCloud sync across devices and multi-language support.
Availability: Free to download and use. About: A simple app for toddlers and kids to explore emojis. Scroll through all the emojis in enlarged format, tap to zoom, and read official descriptions. Great for teaching vocabulary and keeping little ones entertained (for those precious 2 minutes 😬).

Availability: No longer available. About: An educational app with multiple types of quizzes for learning Brazil's states, their capital cities, and their map location.
Professional Work
Availability: Can be downloaded for free but requires a subscription to log in. About: A clinically validated audiometer for iPadOS. This app enables professionals to conduct hearing tests with medical-grade accuracy using just an iPad and calibrated headphones. Patients can take a simple automated test that performs active noise monitoring and advanced algorithms in order to obtain accurate results. All data is synced to the cloud and then deleted from the device for safety. The app can also be used offline. (read more) Contribution: This is currently SHOEBOX's main product, and it's the one that I've worked on the most. We have a team of multiple cloud, web and iOS developers, along with QA, design and a product owner.
Availability: Can be downloaded for free but requires a subscription to log in. About: iPad-based hearing screening app designed for customer acquisition in clinics, retail stores, and events. It was designed to be used in an unattended kiosk - participants can complete a self-administered test in under two minutes, and then request a booking or get their results by email. The app supports 19 languages (including right-to-left ones), customizable branding, and securely syncs all data to a centralized web portal. It also supports offline usage.(read more) Contribution: I was part of a group of people that got into a meeting room for 3 days to brainstorm this app out. I developed QuickTest from zero and was the main iOS developer for most of its features - I was even the sole developer working on it for some periods. My colleagues sometimes call it "the Diogo app" and they even created the image below for one of my work anniversaries. (for context: QuickTest's accent colour is purple and I love space and Star Wars.)
Availability: No longer available. About: This is the original SHOEBOX app, also a clinically validated audiometer for iPadOS. It was replaced by PureTest and QuickTest, mentioned above. SHOEBOX Pro was packed with features, such as automated and manual hearing tests, multiple speech related tests, questionnaires, integration with NOAH (a platform used in hearing healthcare), and others (the Standard app had some features disabled). (read more) Contribution: When I first joined, the app was fully in Objective-C. I was the first one to introduce Swift to it, when I implemented one of the speech tests (called SRT/SDT). After that I worked with PDF generation for the test results and a few other features, before moving on to a new project to develop QuickTest.
Availability: Can be downloaded and tried for free, with limitations. (Japanese only) About: An iOS application for recording, playing, and securely storing high quality audio with cloud-based encrypted storage. Focused on security and seamless cloud synchronization. Contribution: I developed the iOS app from zero to completion, together with another developer who was doing the Android app.
Availability: No longer available for iOS. About: An iOS app that generates multilingual announcements using high-quality speech synthesis, eliminating the need for professional voice talent. It supports Japanese, English, Mandarin, and Korean, with intuitive text-to-speech controls and intonation adjustments. The app is used in train stations, airports, shopping malls, and emergency broadcasting systems across Japan. Contribution: I was not originally in this project but they were having a hard time troubleshooting a critical bug so I got involved and was able to help them. After that, I continued working on the app, mostly doing refactoring to make it more robust, and increasing the test coverage.
📱 Fujitsu Smartphone (OS & Apps)
Fujitsu LimitedAvailability: The arrows series and raku-raku series smartphones are still sold by FCNT (now under Lenovo). About: Fujitsu was a market leader in mobile phone manufacturing, and arrows was their flagship smartphone brand. They are also known for their feature phone: the Raku-Raku phone (meaning "easy-easy" or "comfortable" in Japanese), which is a series of user-friendly mobile phones and smartphones designed primarily for seniors and beginners. Contribution: Developed and enhanced arrows' system applications including the lock screen, the home screen, the settings app, the fingerprint registration, and others. I also reviewed and tested the Raku-raku phone applications.

入手方法：有料ダウンロード（買い切り） 概要：カナダ市民権取得を目指す人のための滞在日数計算アプリ。旅行を記録し、累積日数を計算、市民権申請資格を得た時に通知を受け取れます。iCloudによるデバイス間同期と多言語対応。
入手方法：無料でダウンロード・利用可能 概要：幼児や子供が絵文字を探索できるシンプルなアプリ。拡大表示された絵文字をスクロールし、タップでズーム、公式の説明を読むことができます。語彙を教えたり、お子さんを楽しませるのに最適（あの貴重な2分間のために😬）。

入手方法：現在は公開終了 概要：ブラジルの州、州都、地図上の位置を学ぶための複数のクイズ形式を備えた教育アプリ。
仕事で開発したアプリ
入手方法：無料ダウンロード可能（ログインにはサブスクリプションが必要） 概要：iPadOS向けの臨床検証済み聴力検査アプリ。iPadとキャリブレーション済みヘッドフォンだけで、医療グレードの精度で聴力検査を実施できます。患者は能動的なノイズモニタリングと高度なアルゴリズムを使用した簡単な自動テストを受けられます。すべてのデータはクラウドに同期され、安全のためデバイスから削除されます。オフラインでも使用可能。（詳細） 貢献：現在のSHOEBOXの主力製品であり、私が最も長く携わってきたアプリです。クラウド、ウェブ、iOS開発者、QA、デザイン、プロダクトオーナーで構成されるチームで開発しています。
入手方法：無料ダウンロード可能（ログインにはサブスクリプションが必要） 概要：クリニック、小売店、イベントでの顧客獲得を目的としたiPadベースの聴力スクリーニングアプリ。無人キオスクでの使用を想定しており、参加者は2分以内にセルフテストを完了し、予約リクエストやメールで結果を受け取れます。19言語対応（右から左に読む言語を含む）、カスタマイズ可能なブランディング、Webポータルへの安全なデータ同期。オフライン使用も可能。（詳細） 貢献：3日間のブレインストーミング会議に参加し、ゼロからQuickTestを開発しました。ほとんどの機能で主要なiOS開発者として携わり、一時期は唯一の開発者でした。同僚からは「Diogoアプリ」と呼ばれ、勤続記念日には下の画像を作ってくれました（補足：QuickTestのアクセントカラーは紫で、私は宇宙とスター・ウォーズが大好きです）。
入手方法：現在は公開終了 概要：オリジナルのSHOEBOXアプリで、こちらも臨床検証済みのiPadOS向け聴力検査アプリでした。上記のPureTestとQuickTestに置き換えられました。SHOEBOX Proは自動・手動聴力検査、複数の音声関連テスト、アンケート、NOAH（聴覚医療で使用されるプラットフォーム）との統合など、多くの機能を備えていました（Standardアプリは一部機能が制限されていました）。（詳細） 貢献：入社当時、アプリは完全にObjective-Cでした。私が最初にSwiftを導入し、音声テスト（SRT/SDT）を実装しました。その後、テスト結果のPDF生成などの機能を担当し、QuickTestの開発プロジェクトに移りました。
入手方法：無料でダウンロードして試用可能（制限あり、日本語のみ） 概要：高品質な音声の録音、再生、クラウドベースの暗号化ストレージへの安全な保存ができるiOSアプリ。セキュリティとシームレスなクラウド同期に重点を置いています。 貢献：Android版を担当した別の開発者と共に、iOSアプリをゼロから完成まで開発しました。
入手方法：iOS版は現在公開終了 概要：高品質な音声合成を使用して多言語アナウンスを生成するiOSアプリ。プロのナレーターが不要になります。日本語、英語、中国語、韓国語に対応し、直感的なテキスト読み上げ制御とイントネーション調整機能を備えています。日本全国の駅、空港、ショッピングモール、防災放送システムで使用されています。 貢献：当初はこのプロジェクトに参加していませんでしたが、重大なバグのトラブルシューティングに苦労していたため参加し、解決を支援しました。その後、アプリのリファクタリングによる堅牢性の向上とテストカバレッジの拡大に取り組みました。
📱 富士通スマートフォン（OS・アプリ）
富士通株式会社入手方法：arrowsシリーズとらくらくシリーズはFCNT（現Lenovo傘下）から販売中 概要：富士通は携帯電話製造の市場リーダーであり、arrowsはフラッグシップスマートフォンブランドでした。また、主にシニアや初心者向けに設計された使いやすい携帯電話・スマートフォンシリーズである「らくらくホン」でも知られています。 貢献：arrowsのシステムアプリ（ロック画面、ホーム画面、設定アプリ、指紋登録など）の開発・改良を担当しました。らくらくホンアプリのレビューとテストも行いました。
